ipCam FC - for IP Cameras App Reviews

The app only works in Multi-view mode so only a small quarter screen is viewable. Not able to view in full screen mode. Cheap app equals usability. Dont waste your money, but from some one else :((

This camera does not work with my DCS-930L camera. I emailed the customer support address but got no reply.

I have 5 different ip cameras and they all work on this app. I needed support a couple of times and was given quick accurate fixes! If you have an ip camera, you MUST use this app!!!!

This app does exactly what it is supposed to. Most popular cameras are supported, and it is possible to specify a specific URL for a video stream for cameras not already in the database. The developer provides excellent support in the case of questions or technical challenges.

Great app. Couple of things though. Constantly does a 360 patrol without me asking for it. It may be cos the button is located in a bad place. Not sure why. Also when it is dawn or dusk, the camera stays at day mode when it should be in nighttime mode. I have to wait an hour or two for it to get completely dark before it switches.

So far this app is controlling my HooToo cameras very nicely. The options all work and the throughput is very good. I have run into a problem though, when you choose a single camera to view the app doesnt want to go back to the camera selection screen. I have to force close the app to be able to choose another camera.

This app is absolutely fantastic. It was very easy to set up and the features and functionality are unbelievable. And support was wonderful with helping me through a few questions.

I think I may have been one of the first to download this app. There were so many IP camera apps out there, some worked decent, but none really accomplished all I wanted them to. Until I found this one. This app is the best IP camera app that I have found. I highly recommend this app.

Full control but not full function. This app was recommended by the manufacturer, however, there is no audio for HooToo HT-IP210F on iPhone 5s.

Im using the app for two different brands of cameras. App works great. Support has been very helpful.

Says that my camera is not reachable after the latest update. Reinstalled the app and still having the same issue, please fix ASAP, I didnt pay $4 to have this app crashing on me...

I use this with a Dlink 932L. I have a few webcam apps and think this one has better camera control features than most. Plus the list of supported cameras is extensive.

This app eats up data if left opened and your not viewing it. This was brought to the attention of the apps producer but they failed to fix it with the newest update. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY UNTIL THEY FIX IT!!!!

Author has created a nice application that is easy to use a reliable with support for dozens of camera makes and models.

I checked the compatibility list before I bought this app & it said it works with D-Link cameras. However, I tried to use this with a D-Link DCS-5020L camera & I couldnt. After I bought this app, I tried to connect to my camera & my model wasnt on their list! False Advertising, for sure!!! Total waste of money!!

I started out with the 8910. In testing apps, I tried CamViewer, Foscam Pro, Foscam Viewer, Surveillance Pro, and iCam. Of these, I found Foscam Pro to work best. I just purchased an FI9831W and, unfortunately, Foscam Pro does not support it (at least I could not figure how to make it work with the 9831). In looking for a good iPhone app for both the 8910 and 9831, I tried ipCam FC and found that it works perfectly with both of these cameras. For motion detection, I am using email, text, and ftp to a remote computer. The only slight irritation is the lack of an obvious home button to return to multi view (you have to tap in the upper left corner of the live video—who knew?). Overall, five stars. Nice job.
